Laura D. Holton
Theatrical Director, Educator, and Photographer
Welcome

I am committed to educational outreach and my work as a director and teaching artist. From 2013-2018 I served as the Education Director for Theatre Tulsa where I created a new education program for the company that consisted of several multi-faceted programs and involved over 700 local students. During that time, I was involved in over 50 productions and directed Lion King Jr., Elf, Jr., Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, and Treasure Island.
Whenever not directing, you can spot me backstage as a stage manager or producer! My tenure at Theatre Tulsa gave me extensive knowledge in nonprofit management, grant writing, and a multitude of valuable administrative skillsets.
I received my BFA in Theatre and Minor in Photography from Emporia State University in Kansas. There I was the artistic director and coordinator of Educational Theatre Company, a small non-profit organization that performed touring shows written, directed, and performed by members of the company.
